The B-roll Library gives you a dedicated panel inside the editor for managing your own visual assets — images, video clips, and graphics. Instead of hunting through Finder mid-edit, keep everything organized in folders with thumbnail previews and drag assets directly onto the timeline.
Opening the Library
Click the Library button in the top toolbar to open the panel. The Library and Chat panels are mutually exclusive — opening one closes the other.
Importing Assets
Add files to your library by:
- Clicking the Import button in the Library panel
- Dragging files from Finder into the Library panel
Supported file types include images (PNG, JPEG, HEIC, WebP, GIF, TIFF), video clips (MOV, MP4), and graphics (SVG).
Organizing with Folders
Create folders inside the Library to group related assets — for example, one folder for intro graphics, another for product screenshots, and a third for background videos. Right-click inside the Library to create a new folder.
Browsing and Using Assets
Assets appear as a thumbnail grid. You can:
- Browse by scrolling through thumbnails
- Search by filename
- Drag any asset directly onto the timeline to add it to your project
- Right-click an asset for a context menu with Move, Rename, Reveal in Finder, Copy, and Delete
