    Continue Recording

Add a new take to an existing project without starting a new recording from scratch.

Continue Recording adds a new take to the project you have open. The new footage goes on the same timeline, after your earlier clips. You do not need to import it.

    How to Continue Recording

    1. Open the project in the editor.
    2. Choose File → Continue Recording.... The Recording Hub opens.
    3. Choose a source and record. You can use a different source from the first take.
    4. Stop the recording. ScreenKite adds the new take after the end of the timeline.

If no project is open, ScreenKite shows Open a Project First.

    ✅

Use Continue Recording when you missed a step in a tutorial, or when you want to add one more workflow to a demo.

    What Stays the Same

    • Your edits on the timeline do not change.
    • The project settings, such as the background and device frame, stay the same.

To remove the new take, press ⌘Z. The undo step is Merge Project.
