    Recording a Window

이 문서는 아직 해당 언어로 번역되지 않았습니다. 영어 버전을 표시합니다.

    Window Recording

Window mode captures a single application window using a ScreenCaptureKit window filter. This gives you a clean recording of just one app, without desktop clutter.

    1. Open the Recording Hub
    2. Select Window as the recording source
    3. Choose the target window from the list of open applications
    4. Click Record

    How It Works

ScreenKite lists all available windows in the Recording Hub. System windows and utility apps are automatically filtered out (Control Center, Notification Center, Dock, etc.).

The recording captures the window content at its native resolution regardless of the window's z-order — even if other windows overlap it.

    Benefits

    • Clean recordings — no desktop background, dock, or other windows visible
    • Native resolution — captures at the window's actual size
    • System audio — when recording a window, system audio capture is still available
    💡

The target window must not be minimized during recording. ScreenCaptureKit cannot capture minimized windows.
