How to Import Video Clips into a Screen Recording Project on Mac

You finished a product demo in Screen Studio. Now you need a second clip on the same timeline — an intro bumper, a close-up take, or B-roll from another recording. On the Screen Studio Hub, import clips / append external video is still a top request (often marked Planned), alongside merge multiple projects and multiple layers in timeline.

You do not need to hack Screen Studio or export-and-stitch in another editor.

Short answer

Import the Screen Studio project into ScreenKite, then add clips on ScreenKite’s multi-track timeline.

Since ScreenKite 0.11, you can import .screenstudio projects with zooms, cursor motion, and timing preserved. After import, clip insert is a normal timeline edit — not a Hub wishlist item.
